2010 “Come and Sing” concert raises £6,500 for The Art Room

The Art Room's annual fundraising concert in the Sheldonian Theatre Oxford celebrated its fifth anniversary on 13th February 2010 with a stunning performance of Mendelssohn's Elijah.

Crouch End Festival Chorus beats the snow and ice to support The Art Room at the Barbican

The Art Room is delighted to have been chosen this year as the charity linked to the renowned Crouch End Festival Chorus’s 2010 January concert and was really encouraged by a very generous donation of £740 donated by the audience during the interval.

The 2009 London Auction raises over £90,000!

On 9 December 2009 we held our fifth auction - and our first in London, which raised over £90,000. We were thrilled to have so many people supporting us, whether they were creating wonderful pieces for us, or bidding for them.

Annual report from Rose Hill Primary School

Rose Hill Primary School has been open for almost 2 years. During this time we have been lucky enough to work with groups throughout the school, from year 1 to year 6. Each term we work with approximately 50 children over 3 days.

New satellite Art Room opens in Islington

The Art Room at Robert Blair School was officially launched by Councillor Belford, Islington Council's executive member for children and young people, and the children’s illustrator Korky Paul, at a packed reception in September.

Our first Symposium was held at St Hugh’s College, Oxford 21 October 2008, attended by 130 professionals who work with challenging and vulnerable children and young people.

The Art Room NESTA Symposium

The Art Room Symposium held at the magnificent new NESTA building was a great success attended by 80 professionals – including teachers, therapists, social workers, youth offending officers, mentors, artists and academics – who had an interest in the work of The Art Room.
