There are many reasons why children might attend The Art Room – all the children have been identified by their teachers as needing special time away from their school because they are finding it hard to engage with mainstream education. The Art Room helps children develop positive relationships by working with them within a relaxed and safe environment. We encourage the children to express themselves by engaging in different kinds of creative artwork. Once they experience success and realise what they can achieve, they become more able to manage their lives and re-engage with their education.
