Satellites
The Art Room is launching its first satellite at Rose Hill Primary School in a socially deprived area of Oxford in January 2008. All members of staff will be trained by Juli Beattie, Director of The Art Room, and Lara Cramsie (author of The Art Room Methodology Book).
Project Managers from Research Machines (an Oxfordshire based company, the leading provider of ICT software, infrastructure and services to UK education) gave up a day as part of their voluntary work programme to set up the Rose Hill Art Room to replicate The Art Room at Oxford Community School. They were an enthusiastic, highly committed and talented group who achieved a transformation of the room despite lack of tools! Read more about the day here.
